Lisa Gomersall, Salary Solutions’ newly appointed Payroll Manager recently found out she has successfully passed her Diploma in Payroll Management.
After two years of intense study, Lisa will pick up her Diploma next month at a ceremony at London’s Barbican centre. The qualification which is based on a Foundation Degree in Payroll Management is accredited by the University of Worcester and is awarded by the Institute of Payroll Professionals, one of the highest recognised bodies within the payroll industry.
Lisa, who has been with Salary Solutions since January 2005 has gained a vast knowledge of payroll matters within this time. Lisa’s Diploma now means her clients will benefit from a broader and more strategic understanding of business concepts that she can now apply within her position. Lisa has worked for various organisations within different industries and gained a wealth of experience in both payroll and accounts. Lisa is also a qualified Accounting Technician (AAT) and holds a HND in Business and Personnel, enabling her to bring a wide variety of skills to Salary Solutions. Lisa’s approach to providing Salary Solutions’ payroll service is down to earth, friendly and efficient. This style of service has succeeded in growing from a single client to over 125 clients currently.
Marie Rusling, Lisa’s predecessor continues to support Lisa with relief cover and with hands on experience with all types of weekly, fortnightly, monthly and lunar pay periods. Over the years both Lisa and Marie have dealt with many different industries including; Construction, Leisure, Retail, Professional Services, Transport, Manufacturing and numerous others.
Marie Rusling retires as Payroll Manager at Salary Solutions
on July 4th 2008, with Lisa Gomersall taking over the helm.
Marie will however be working with us on a regular basis
providing cover and help for Lisa during holidays and busy
peak periods.
Marie has loved her job and enjoyed creating great working
relationships with all her clients but is now looking forward
to
having “new adventures” of her own.
We wish her well with her retirement plans!
